Moving draft files to a team project

Project files can be shared and collaborated with others, so if you wish to share a draft file, you can first move it to a team project, the instructions as follows:

• Option 1: Moving files on Fabrie is very easy, you can simply drag and drop to organise drafts or project files.

• Option 2: Click on the "..." in the top right corner of the draft file, go to the file action menu and select 'Move to', then select the team project you need to assign to in the pop-up window, complete the move action and the file will appear in the project.

Project file sharing

You can currently share files after logging into Fabrie using two methods.

Share via dashboard menu

Move your cursor over any file and click on the share icon in the top right hand corner to share it quickly, or share it by going to "Sharing settings" in the file action menu.

Share via workspace share button

Click the 'Share' button in the top right-hand corner of the file workspace to initiate a share.

File permission settings

Sharing permissions for files within a team are linked to user roles and you can change permissions in bulk according to user roles:.

• Editable by all team members (default): when selected, all members within the team can edit this document.
• Readable by all team members: when this option is selected, all members of the team can see this document, but cannot edit it.
• inaccessible to visitors on the Internet (default): when this option is selected, Internet visitors will not be able to see or edit this document, even if they are given a link to it.
